Frank Gómez is an expert in communications, media and political and economic affairs in LATAM. He capped his Foreign Service career as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs with the rank of Minister Counselor, receiving six service awards. In the State Department he directed the Office of Opinion Research, the Office of the Historian, Publications and Programs, and created the Office of Cities Liaison. He was often sent to the White House to help coordinate overseas presidential visits, G8 summits and state visits. He served in Colombia, Costa Rica, Mali, Haiti and twice in Washington.
